Tuna And Tomato Hushpuppies
Ingredients:
3 cups to 4 white self-rising cornmeal mix
2 eggs
1 # 303 can stewed tomatoes mashed with juice
2 small cans white tuna in water (don t drain)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients until well blended. Makes a stiff moist batter.
Drop by teaspoon (like you stir tea with) into 350F oil and fry until
golden brown. drain on paper towels and eat. Posted to the BBQ List
